For the 43rd year respectively, Paris stylishly says goodbye to summer and welcomes Autumn through the one of a kind festival ” Paris Autumn Festival”.
First organised in 1972 by Michel Guy, the Paris Autumn Festival is a showcase for the contemporary art in all forms from around the world. As it embraces and combines opera, film, dance, theater, music, literature, visual arts… Paris Autumn festival is the largest festival of its kind in the world.
The 43rd Edition runs 4 September 2014 – 31 December 2014. Every year, from September to December, the Festival features over forty events attracting a total audience of more than 100 000. Stretched out over three months, the festival’s mission statement has four main missions: bring new acts and culture to France; helping emerging artists achieve recognition; trying experimental art forms and projects; and getting to know cultures from outside French borders.
