November 2014, Paris celebrates the 20th edition of the Mois de la Photo. For this occasion many photographers known worldwide will be participating, among whom will be the Swiss photographer Peter Knapp.
For those who do not know who is Peter Knapp, he is a Swiss photographer born in 1931. He finished his studies of Decorative Arts in Zurich then joined the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris in 1951. Since then, he started a very successful Carrier with diversified activities: documentary film movie, graphic designer, a fashion photographer releases… He even worked for Elle Magazine as artistic director between 1959 and 1966 and from 1974 to 1978, it is in this context that Peter Knapp collaborated with great designers and produced his first fashion photographs.
Peter Knapp photography during the month of photography in Paris will be featured at the Art and History Museum Saint-Denis! The exhibition presents two panoramic views of the canal during the existence of a slum and a few days after its destruction, facing the gallery 6b in Saint-Denis. In partnership with the galerie Baudoin Lebon.
