If on your busy holiday schedule in Paris, you’ve planned on visiting the monumental and historic basilica “La Basilique Sacré-Cœur “of Montmartre, you have no excuse not to stop by the magical restaurant “Le Relais Gascon “.
It is only 30 minutes’ walk from the “Hotel Louvre Marsollier Opera” you chose to stay in; and if you don’t feel like walking, take your map out of your pocket and grab the next metro “Abbesses” , which is the deepest station in the Paris Metro, at 36 meters below ground; and you’re good to go for an unforgettable experience, heading uphill in the heart of the amazing village of Montmartre, definitely one of the most fascinating neighborhoods in Paris, and a must-see for the perfect tourist that you are !
“Le Relais Gascon” is a charming two floors restaurant; typically French where you can chose among 10 giants bowls of salad, each generous and delicious. Made of fresh and crunchy green lettuce as well as juicy tomatoes, they all come covered with golden crispy potatoes sautéed with garlic and parsley. Personally, my favorite is the “Salade Gascon” garnished with slices of smoked duck, block of foie gras with toasted bread and a divine vinaigrette dressing. But if you are more of a sea-food person, you can still have the “Salade Océane” coming with shrimps, smoked salmon and creamy slices of avocado!
Looking for a delightful lunch or dinner at the best price in an amazing spot in Paris? Run there. It should not exceed 20 euros per person.
