The performer is a famous French jazz violinist born February 11, 1956 in Calais -northern France. Lockwood, who began studying violin when he was only six, had a diverse career and many styles including Fusion, Piano Jazz and Guitar Jazz. In the 1970’s he also played in the French progressive rock band “Magma” (founded in 1969 by the drummer Christian Vander in Paris).
