This Saturday, May 21st, 2016, Paris the city of light and culture is host to a unique and free cultural event that is considered to be one of the most important events in Paris and Europe: the Museum Night 2016 (La Nuit des Musées 2016).
Every year, on the closest Saturday to May 18th, the major museums and galleries in Paris celebrate this event by opening their doors to the public from 6.00 pm to midnight and providing their visitors with a wide range of activities including concerts, workshops, and guided tours.
To celebrate the 12th edition of the Museum Night 2016, guests staying at Hotel Louvre Marsollier Opera Paris can pay a visit to the Musée de l’Orangerie or the Musée d’Orsay where they will enjoy a wonderful evening listening to some of the best pieces of Jazz music and lay eyes on the most exceptional exhibitions such as “Apollinaire, the Eyes of the Poet” and “The Douanier Rousseau. Archaic Candour” for free. Other museums like The Louvre, the Petit Palais, the Grand Palais, and Paris Museum of Modern Art will also take part in this event by holding special programs during the whole evening.
