In an attempt to highlight one of the most significant periods in the life of the prominent French artist Guillaume Apollinaire, until July 13, 2016, the Musée de l’Orangerie holds a very interesting exhibition entitled « Apollinaire, the Eyes of the Poet ».

Originated from William Shakespeare’s renowned tragedy King Lear, Lear is written by the famous librettist, Claus H. Henneberg. It was performed for the first time on July 9th, 1978 at the National Theatre Munich, under the conduction of the German conductor Gerd Albrecht.
