Nothing could be better than a day at the Louvre, the most well-known museum in Paris. In January, visitors can even enjoy a little spa experience at the Louvre to add to the amazing art and culture already found there. At the ‘Salon des Thermalies,’ eight spaces dedicated to various spa themes will be installed in the Carousel du Louvre, the shopping area adjacent to the famous museum.
The Salon will take place from the 23rd to the 26th of January 2014. During these four days, visitors staying at the Hôtel Louvre Marsollier can check out beauty treatments just a few steps away from their rooms. Bigger than last year, the Salon des Thermalies has added two additional spaces offering even more enjoyment to its visitors. Approximately 300 exhibitors will participate in this event dedicated to thalassotherapy, a field that uses water for various health, beauty and relaxation applications.
The exhibitors employ seawater, spring water and mineral water used outside the body and also consumed internally in order to make a curious public feel better than ever. The expo’s themes include Thalasso France, which concentrates on the latest water spa trends in the country as well as Thalasso d’ailleurs (thalasso from elsewhere), which features offers from spas across the world.
Moreover, spaces dedicated to thermal waters, ancestral water rituals, beauty treatments, and spa therapy technology round out the vast selections of offerings at the expo. Plus, a variety of activities are also planned to keep visitors entertained. From swimsuit fashion shows to food demonstrations from spa chefs, there is plenty to explore at the expo.
Those interested can get a free invitation for the Salon at the event’s website (in French).
