From April 12, 2016, through August 28, 2016, the world’s largest museum, the Louvre invites you to take pleasure in discovering one of the most impressive contemporary architectural artworks: Panorama by the talented French sculptor Eva Jospin.
Organized by the Louvre Museum, in cooperation with Noirmontartproduction, this chef-d’oeuvre is, in fact, the first contemporary artwork to be displayed in public, on the top of the central fountain of the Cour Carrée of the Louvre.
With its stunning mirror-polished steel façades, this magnificent work will allow visitors to admire and contemplate the reflection of the fascinating and sophisticated façades of the Louvre palace.
Getting into this fabulous artistic creation will also give them the chance to plunge into a world of magic made from wood and cardboard, a rarely used material in visual arts.
The Louvre Museum is just a few minutes’ walk from our hotel Louvre Marsollier Opera Paris.
Don’t miss passing by this outstanding installation!
Eva Jospin’s Panorama is freely accessible to all visitors.
