The Fondation Louis Vuitton – in particular, the Frank Gehry building – has always found pride in exhibiting a range of interesting work from around the globe. The current show, In Tune With The World, is a great example. Here art lovers can explore the work of nearly 50 artists from Europe, Asia and America. Artists from across the Atlantic including a number of modern US artists and Adrián Villar Rojas from Argentina are present. Their work sits next to pieces created by European masters, such as Richter and Matisse, in Sequence B.
As for the Asian artists, Shimabuke from Japan and South Korea’s Anicka Yi are joined by global giant Takashi Murakami. Murakami’s bold, colourful work takes up three gallery spaces in sequence A. Each is so impactful and different that they need this separation. Art lovers should check out these collections before August 27th. It is unclear when Paris will have another show this culturally diverse, so make the most of the opportunity.
