After crossing the globe, the traveling exhibition dedicated to the works of the French “couturier” Jean Paul Gaultier is finally setting in Paris from April 1 to August 3, 2015 at the Grand Palais.
This exibition taking place at The Grand Palais is in fact the tenth stage of this exhibition that conquered the globe for about a year from London to Brooklyn, Dallas, San Francisco and Stockholm, to set finally in Paris.
Through the presentation of some “unreleased” pieces of “haute couture” and ready-to-wear from the 70s till now, this retrospective allows us to rediscover the great works of the French designer, bringing together music videos, stage costumes, shows, concerts, dance performances, and even television programs illustrating Jean Paul Gualtier’s great career.
This exhibition is organized by the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts together with “La Réunion des Musées Nationaux”, and the Grand Palais, in collaboration with the Maison Jean Paul Gaultier, Paris.
