The Grape Harvest Festival has been organized by the inhabitants of the butte (hill) Montmartre since 1934.
When October and the Clos Montmartre grape harvest arrives, the 18th arrondissement comes alive for a five day party, where everyone gathers to enjoy the performances, exhibitions, tours, and many activities. Each year, a French personality (singer, actor, etc.) hosts the event. This year’s edition will honor poetry.
Welcoming last year more than 400.000 visitors, the Montmartre harvest festival is considered one of the most popular Paris festivals, together with the Nuit Blanche and Paris Plage. And it is estimated that during this year’s festival even more people will participate.
With family or friends, for this 81st edition, you will have plenty to do! Between stalls featuring crafts (where you can taste local products), various exhibits, tours, shows, and parades, you won’t have time to get bored. Concerts and dances are also on the program, as are many surprises…
Guests staying at Hôtel Louvre Marsollier from 6 to 10 October can enjoy five days of non-stop festivities. Montmartre Grape Harvesr Festival is an event not to b missed especially for wine lovers.
