There is a new show in Paris that is the perfect example of how to take a simple theme and to run with it. There are lots of different ways to showcase the moon in art and design. Artists have long enjoyed painting the moonlight on landscape or played with ideas about its surface. Writers, musicians and designer are often fascinated by the moon and lunar travel. Then there are all of the different artefacts and other items related to space exploration and the Apollo 11 mission. That ever-present orb in the sky that we take for granted has so much history and mythology. It has fascinated people for centuries.
Simply called The Moon, this show at the Grand Palais, is one that should bring together all kinds of visitors. Sci-fi fans, astronomy nerd, art lovers and many more will all find something to love about this show. Don’t miss out on this wonderful collection, on show until the 22nd of July.
