The Petit Palais art museum is organizing Oscar Wilde, l’impertinent absolu, an exhibition which is actually considered to be the first major exhibition ever held in France in honor of the Irish playwright, novelist, and poet, Oscar Wilde (1854 – 1900).
Running from September 28, 2016, through January 15, 2017, the exhibition is actually a non-to-be-missed opportunity for this great author’s fans to get an in-depth view on his work and his life as well.
Oscar Wilde, l’impertinent absolu comprises more than 200 rare and impressive pieces including private collections, unique editions, caricatures, photographs, drawings, and portraits.
Short excerpts from movies and interesting interviews are also on view.
