The Musée du quai Branly – Jacques Chirac is presenting an exhibition aiming at examining Picasso’s relationship with non-Western art and that offers a comparative view of his work with artworks by non-Western artists.
Running until July 23, 2017, at the Galerie Jardin of the museum, the exhibition brings together a diverse and rich collection of objects that includes many documents, photographs, letters, as well as other items from Picasso’s private collection.
The Musée du quai Branly is located in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, on the left bank of the Seine river, close to the city’s most iconic landmark, the Eiffel Tower. It is so easy to get there from the Hotel Louvre Marsollier Opera Paris. So, if you’re interested in seeing “Picasso Primitif”, don’t hesitate!
The exhibition is organized by the musée du quai Branly – Jacques Chirac, in collaboration with the Musée National Picasso-Paris.
