Launched in 2008 by the English artist Luke Jerram, the project “Play Me, I’m Yours” has traveled the world to reach more than 6 million people through 1,300 pianos installed in 46 international cities! After LA, London, New York, Sydeny Sao Paolo, Paris is holding this year the 4th edition of this highly artistic event.
Presented by the Agency Community, “Play Me, I’m Yours” is back to Paris from June 25 to July 12,2015 where 30 street pianos will be publicly available in many tourist sites,popular squares, parks and gardens of Paris, so that everyone can play music for free.
This year, the customization of pianos will take place at the Maison de la Radio on 20 & 21. The pianos will be personalized by artists (visual artists, graffiti artists, fashion designers and even tattoo artists!) In the hall of the Maison de La Radio, concerts mixing amateurs and professionals, celebrities and young talents will be organized in the Agora, and exhibitions and events will take place in the Avenue.
Putting music and art at the very heart of the capital, this is what Play Me, I’m Yours is all about, the festival invites you to celebrate the art and music everywhere, and get yourself immersed in the amazing atmosphere that art creates.
For two weeks, Paris will live at the rythm of the Piano, come enjoy concerts and participate in events around this great instrument and feel art in the air!
