Located within Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport and mainly dedicated to art, on the occasion of its fifth anniversary, the Espace Musées hosts, from February 5th until September 10th, 2018, an exceptional exhibition entitled « The abstract art of the 50s ».
Held in partnership with the Pompidou Center, one of the largest and most renowned modern art and contemporary art museums in France, the exhibition will allow travelers to view 21 major works from the center’s own collection. Works by great artists will be showcased, including works by Jean Arp, Alexandre Calder, Auguste Herbin, Jean Dewasne, Judith Reigl, Gerard Schneider, François Morellet, Simon Hantaï, Aurélie Nemours, Mathieu Mathieu, Roger Bissière, and many others. Abstraction, with its risky shapes, geometric forms, and bright colors, will be put under the spotlight, giving art lovers an opportunity to discover more about this concept.
