The Petit Palais des Champs Elysées will be presenting, until December 17th, 2017, a major retrospective dedicated a selection of the best works of the renowned Swedish painter Andres Zorn (1860-1920).
After being celebrated in San Francisco and New York in 2013-2014, today, Zorn is honored for the first time in Paris with an exhibition held in an attempt to draw attention to his great skills as a watercolorist, an etcher, and a photographer–a talent which is unknown to many.
The collection includes remarkable pieces from the Zorn Museum in Mora, one of four Swedish museums dedicated to the life and works of Anders Zorn. It also includes exceptional works from the National Museum in Stockholm, along with others on loan from other Scandinavian and French arts organizations.
