Widely known for his controversial works, until January 14th, 2018, the renowned American photographer Andres Serrano is exhibiting a selection of more than 40 of his best works among the permanent collection of the Petit Palais, in Paris.
Serrano was born on August 15th, 1950, in New York City. He studied at the Brooklyn Museum and Art School, from 1967 to 1969, and worked as an assistant art director, before he started creating his career as a photographer in 1983.
His work has been displayed in some of the most renowned venues throughout the world and some of his masterpieces were used for covers of movies and music albums such as the Load and ReLoad albums of the famous heavy metal band, Metallica.
« Andres Serrano – Dans les collections permanentes » opened on October 7th, and will continue to run until January 14th, 2018 at the Petit Palais which is located at a walking distance of 25 minutes from our Hotel Louvre Marsollier Opéra.
