It is always a great occasion for art lovers when a big, respected collection comes to town. These collections were once the pride and joy of major art collectors, with major works from masters hidden behind closed doors. Now, curators and gallery owners can bring these important pieces back under a more public spotlight.
This spring, it is the turn of the Emil Buhrle Collection. This collection comprises of around 60 pieces of work from major artists. This includes Renoir, Monet, Cezanne, Degas, Van Gogh, and Picasso. In fact, there should be something here for anyone that wants a chance to see some of the masters up close.
This stunning collection will go on public show at the Paris Musee Maillol, between March 20th and July 21st, 2019. This long-term show for the spring season means plenty of opportunities to see these incredible masterpieces time and time again. Make the most of all these artists under one roof while you can!
