The Grevin Museum in Paris has long been an important part of the cultural scene of Paris. There has always been a strong line-up of waxworks to draw in the crowds and entertain visitors. However, the line-up has been the same for a long time. That is why the curators at the museum decided it was time for a massive renovation. The institution has no reopened and is better than ever.
The exhibition is a new long-term show taking place in the museum’s Evolution Gallery. The plan is to split the area into sections based on different aspects of the ocean. This means that we won’t just see the more obvious, familiar creatures from the surface and local shores. There are also sections on distant seas and the strange bioluminescent worlds in the deepest ocean trenches. This means an incredibly diverse series of specimens and artefacts under one roof.
From October 10 to November 11, 2017, the prestigious Opera Bastille Paris is presenting the outstanding opera, Don Carlos, by the prolific Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi.
