The Musée de Cluny is one of the leading establishments on the Middle Ages in Paris. As such, you can always rely on them to put on interesting exhibitions with some amazing artefacts and pieces from the era. Last year, their Tresors exhibition was a hit as it highlighted some of the finer pieces of the era. Now, the museum is turning that around to focus on the more mundane and everyday with Regards sur la vie quotidienne.
These are the items that your average person would have used to live their lives and do their daily chores. They are about everyday needs that are still important today, but would have been taken care of in a different way. This exhibition is sure to be interesting to historians and those with a passing interest because of the relatability of the pieces.
The Regards sur la vie quotidienne exhibition first opened on March 4 and was scheduled to run until June 28, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was closed only a few days after its launch. Now, after the reopening of the Musée de Cluny, art lovers have a second chance to see it from 1 July to 27 September 2020.
