Every year, chocolatiers compete in imagination to create chocolate sweets. Some of them have taken the gamble of opting for original creations: This is the case of the self-taught chocolatier Jacques Genin.
Located 27 rue de Varenne, in the 7th district of Paris, the chocolate factory worth the visit!
On the first floor, have a look to these incredible pieces of art and enjoy your taste buds. The place is divided in two universes: On one side, we can find the chocolate factory and the sales counters where the creations and other succulent desserts are sold. On the other side, we can discover the tasting room where we will have the chance to enjoy the delights offered by Jacques Genin. For the curious ones, go to the 2nd floor to discover the chocolate manufacturing laboratory!
« We can’t wait to see the Easter eggs, which are spectacular every year, » say some of the loyal customers. Like works of art, the man who calls himself the « chocolate founder » invites artists to sublimate his creations, which come in flashy colors, figurative or abstract designs.

Easter vacations are synonyms of tasting and fun with the famous Egg Hunt. We suggest an unmissable and original place for this egg hunt: : The Rodin Museum
On Wednesday 13 April, the Rodin Museum will collaborate with A la mère de famille, the oldest chocolate factory of Paris, to organize a festive and cultural afternoon.
The event will invite young visitors to search for Rodin’s key works added to the traditional Eggs Hunt. Many games, surprises and workshops will also be organized. To receive the registration link, simply subscribe to the newsletter « A la mère de famille ». Entries will be free for children !

For those who missed the opportunity, don’t hesitate to organize your own treasure hunt in one of the many Parisian gardens or parks: The Buttes Chaumont Park, the Tuileries or Luxembourg Gardens, the Parc Monceau… They are easily accessible from the Louvre Marsollier Opéra hotel and ensure a perfect family time at the heart of Paris !
Another convivial moment for your Easter vacation in the French Capital: a visit to the exhibition of Vassily Kandinsky, Paul Cézanne and Destination Cosmos at the Atelier des Lumières.
« Cézanne, lumières de Provence » offers you an immersive experience in the artist’s career and works of art. Discover a landscape linked to the nature of Provence and the Sainte Victoire, all set up in a magical atmosphere.

The exhibition « Kandinsky, l’odyssée de l’abstrait » highlights the abstract works of the artist. You will be immersed in a chromatic universe and in the memories of Kandinsky. Let yourself be overwhelmed by the strength of the movements and the rhythm of shapes and colors.

Finally, « Destination Cosmos : l’Ultime défi » offers a unique journey through a maze of stars and planets. Immerse yourself in the space universe with sensational images and music that will overwhelm all your senses. An experience not to be missed !
