Some shows and visual styles leave a lasting impression on audiences. The recent trend for immersive digital shows and digital deconstructions is one that has really taken Parisian art shows to another level. Visitors love the chance to interact with images, dive into the subject and get a new perspective. It makes a change from a static image in a quiet gallery when you can play, move and have a fitting soundtrack. The Gustav Klimt exhibition at the Atelier des Lumieres was one of the standout examples from 2018.
The great news for those that want to see it again, or those that couldn’t make it, is that the installation is returning for a welcome encore this year. You can visit the exhibition for a 30-minute evening screening between August 1st and 22nd, or between October 29th and November 2nd. Don’t miss out because this may be the last chance to see it.
