Samaritaine, « Paris Mène la Danse »
During Christmas celebrations, Samaritaine stages the meeting between Christmas and dancing stars with the show “Paris Mène la Danse”. The magnificent setting created by the Parisian department store offers to its visitors a trip in an illuminated and magical world.
With a thousand lights a stars constellation illuminates the Rivoli street windows. On the other side, the Monnaie street windows are highlighted by a dance video projection created in collaboration with the Centre National de la Danse. This animation presents the history of this art and its evolution from the 30’s.
Once inside, the show continues and a magical shopping session is waiting for you. Exceptional Opéra Garnier costumes are exposed and highlighted by wonderful lights. Also, you will find all Christmas decorations, including the famous giant advent calendar and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. We suggest you to stroll in the store on weekends, you will probably have the chance to see a dancing company led by a swinging Santa Claus.

“Les Sentiers Lumineux de Noël”
To continue our December Parisian guide, we suggest you dive into the magical world of “Les Sentiers Lumineux de Noël”. This tour is set up in the Parc Floral de Paris until January 2nd, 2023, and is a magical match between nature and lights. During this 1h30 walk, families can discover the nature sublimated by splendid light effects. The shining trees, the glowing lake and the glittering plants become a magical environment that immerses young and old in an enchanted world.
