In partnership with the Metropolitan Museum of Art (MoMA), New York, the Grand Palais des Champs Elysées presents, from September 21st, 2017 until January 29th, 2018, a major retrospective of the 20th century American icon of photography, Irving Penn (1917-2009).
Held on the occasion of the centenary of the artist’s birth, this retrospective is, actually, the first to be held in France since the artist’s death. It showcases more than 240 works including photographs, drawings, as well as several paintings.
Tracing almost the whole career of this great artist, the exhibition is, undoubtedly, a must-see in France this year. It puts on view photographs of renowned personalities such as Pablo Picasso, the popular artist and humanitarian figure Audrey Hepburn and the English film director and producer Alfred Hitchcock.
Hotel Louvre Marsollier is located at a very short distance walk from the Grand Palais des Champs Elysées. So, be there!
