Immersive visual experiences have become a big part of the artistic calendar in Paris for a little while now. While we love to see real paintings and artwork in conventional galleries, it can be fun to see a well-known artist and their work through a different perspective. The fascinating light and sound show at the Atelier des Lumieres for 2020 takes us on a stunning tour of 500 paintings by leading artists of the 19th and 20th centuries. You can walk into a Matisse, pick apart a Pissarro and get a rare look at a Monet. All of the pieces are tied together by one notion: Journeys around the Mediterranean.
The show Monet, Renoir… Chagall. Journeys around the Mediterranean follows on from previous deconstructions on Klimt and Van Gogh that were so popular that they led to encore shows. Do not hesitate to visit it!
