The Opera Garnier, located in the 9th arrondissement of Paris and the landscape of the French capital. The Opera Garnier was built under the Second Empire on the occasion of the transformations of the capital led by Baron Haussmann. The Opera House was inaugurated January 15, 1875 by President MacMahon. With the commissioning of the Opera Bastille, the Opera Garnier continues to present operas and was renamed the Palace of dance.
The Opera Garnier is then assembled at the Opera Bastille: they form when the Paris Opera.
