Paris in July: discover our adresses and our tips

Posted by admin

Start the summer in the best way possible

A holiday feeling floats on the capital and invites us to enjoy the warm and joyful summer atmosphere. Parisian terraces are filling up and the festive sound is giving rhythm to the Parisian evenings. The sunny weather is back and invites us to discover the city of light from a whole new way.

This month again, let’s meet on our Instagram account @louvremarsollieroperahotel where we have selected the best of the season’s activities and shared our favourite addresses!

A family brunch at the heart of Paris

To begin our summer month in a friendly atmosphere, let’s make a first stop at the famous Benoit Castel brunch. Between passion, sharing and transmission, there is only one watchword for this cooking virtuoso: « Indulge yourself ».

His secret for recipes that will delight your taste buds? Fresh, seasonal and home-made products.

Installed on large tables, all generations meet in a reassuring universe that feels « like home ». A real show is offered to gourmets with a direct view of the sumptuous bread oven.

An exceptional stroll

Let’s continue our visit with a unique Parisian stroll. If you think you’ve seen Paris in every nook and cranny, it’s on the Canal Saint Martin that the City of Light reveals its most beautiful assets.

Marin d’eau douce rents electric boats that will make you feel like a sailor. Sail at your own pace on the Parisian canals and rediscover the capital from a whole new way.

An exceptional trip combining culture, poetic sweetness and sunny stroll.

The night at the Invalides

To enjoy the mild summer nights, don’t miss the 10th edition of La Nuit aux Invalides.

This open-air event offers spectators a total immersion at the heart of Napoleon’s legend and heritage. This year, « The Flight of the Eagle » celebrates the 200th anniversary of Napoleon’s death through a monumental show.

Bringing together young and old, this sound and light show will be projected onto one of the most emblematic Parisian monuments: the Invalides.

Taking place from 16 July to 1 September, this is a not-to-be-missed event!

14 July – National French day

If every year, French people celebrate their national day on 14th of July, it is also a real event in the capital.

Paris is transformed and adorned with its most beautiful attractions to celebrate this very special day. Between parades, fireworks and balls, it is also in the air that you will be able to admire an exceptional show!

Every year, the Patrouille de France (French patrol) unfurls the blue, white and red flag to dress up the Parisian sky with colours.

The perfect opportunity to get a bit of height!
