Located in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, Fondation Custodia invites you to attend its new exhibition, “The American Dream: Pop to the Present. Prints from the British Museum”, starting from June 2nd until September 2nd, 2018.
The exhibition gives attendees a chance to discover around 100 prints made by 42 of the greatest American artists, depicting the increase and development of prints in the US, from 1960 until the present day.
Made possible thanks to the British Museum and the Terra Foundation for American Art, the exhibition displays some of the most extraordinary pieces of American art, including works from Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns, Ed Ruscha, Kara Walker, and Jim Dine.
“The American Dream: Pop to the Present. Prints from the British Museum” was also on view at the British Museum, from March 9th until June 18th, 2017.
The Fondation Custodia is a 25-minute walk from our Hotel Louvre Marsollier Opéra Paris. So, if you are one of our guests, we strongly advise you to see the exhibition. It is simply a must-see!
