To celebrate its 40th anniversary, the Musée en Herbe invites budding Tintin to take possession of its space, where all the treasures of Hergé are exposed at the exhibition “le Musée Imaginaire de Tintin” from February,12 to August,31, 2015.
On the occasion of this exhibition, the ” Hergé Museum “ in Louvain-la-Neuve in Belgium, travels to settle in the Musée en Herbe, where visitors will discover planks and original drawings that trace the life of Hergé, the iconic illustrator, graphic designer, poster artist, cartoonist… and of course, comic book artist.
Through this exhibition, the Tintin adult fans will be pleased to deepen their knowledge of the world of Hergé, while the children will learn how mucu is this universe rich and fascinating. have the chance to discover original drawings and objects evoking Tintin, the most famous caracter made by Georges Remi, alias Hergé.
The exhibition is organized in a way where visitors find in the first room drawings, paintings and the original office of Hergé. A guide will be telling the children about Hergé, how were born Tintin, Snowy and all other cartoon characters made by Hergé.
The next room’s walls are covered with enlarged thumbnails of T intin albums and children discover objects brought from around the world by Hergé, the bojects that inspired to create some adventures of Tintin.
In this second room intermingle “The Imaginary Museum of Tintin” (works of art and ethnological objects that inspired the illustrator) with “Tintin Essential sites” (glimpses to Dupont Dupond’s hats, cigars of the Pharaoh, the polar held Snowy …).
Guests staying at Hotel Louvre Marsollier will be at a walking ditance from The Musée en Herbe that welcomes “Tintin’s imaginary Museum” until August,31st, 2015.
